film “Spider-Man: Brand New Day,” starring Tom Holland and Zendaya, has grossed over US$2 billion at the global box office.

Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, the film was released on July 31. Holland plays Spider-Man, and Zendaya portrays Michelle Jones-Watson. Actor Jacob Batalon plays Ned Leeds, while Cretton portrays Tombstone and Sadie Sink plays Jean Grey.

According to the entertainment news outlet ‘The Hollywood Reporter,’ the film’s total global box office collection stands at US$2.022 billion. In India, too, the film has grossed over ₹500 crore, becoming the highest-grossing Hollywood film. It has surpassed Christopher Nolan’s films “The Odyssey” and “Obsession,” which had earned over ₹100 crore at the box office.
