Jetsun Pema is the world’s youngest queen consort and the wife of the “Dragon King” (known as Druk Gylapo in Bhutanese). And what else? The “Kate Middleton of the Himalayas” is another nickname for her. She and her husband, King Jigme Namgyel Wangchuck, are regarded as the world’s “most attractive” royal couple.
She married the King in a private wedding on October 12, 2011, the year she was crowned. She was born in 1990. She attended the St. Joseph’s Convent in Kalimpong, West Bengal, and is the second of five siblings. Furthermore, she maintained her ties with India after relocating to The Lawrence School in Solan in 2006. After that, she attended Regent’s University in London, where she earned a degree in international relations with minors in psychology and art history.
