Esteemed OCA-OS Regional Forum 2025 will take place in Bhutan from April 2–3 in Thimphu. This is the biggest athletic gathering Bhutan has ever hosted, bolstering its expanding capacity to host global events and improving its standing in the fields of sports, tourism, and diplomacy. It offers a chance to highlight the nation’s well-known friendliness, rich cultural legacy, and dedication to advancing sports in accordance with its core values. Approximately 80 officials and important delegates from 26 NOCs will attend the event, which is a joint OCA and IOC endeavor. The 2026 Asian Games in Japan, the Third Asian Youth Games in Bahrain, 2026 Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and the Olympic Solidarity Quadrennial Plan 2025–2028 are among the main topics of discussion.

Sonam Karma Tshering, the secretary general of the BOC, stated that the organization is eager to organize the event and is prepared to receive notable Asian sports leaders. Even though Bhutan’s sports sector is tiny, he continued, the nation nonetheless makes investments in sports as a representation of its independence and self-determination. The official logo for the OCA-OS Regional Forum 2025 has been unveiled; it represents stability, peace, and endurance—values that characterize the event as well as Bhutan’s goals in sports and beyond. There will be other events planned, like the Asian Games Fun Run, an art contest, and the Youth Reporter Program. On April 6-7, NOCs from West Asia and Central Asia will gather in Dushanbe, Tajikistan, for the second OCA-OS Regional Forum.
