The NSUW is scheduled to return to Bhutan from March 12–15, 2025, following a four-year break. This year’s event, which is organized by the BITC under TTPL, will center on the theme. The program’s goal is to strengthen Bhutan’s startup ecosystem by providing resources, mentorship, and tools to aspiring entrepreneurs. In order to foster innovation, it will use tried-and-true techniques and involve networks. SCB will take place on the first day of the four-day event, which will be followed by a three-day NSUW. It is anticipated that over 130 people will participate, including students, tech graduates, trainees from Technical Training Institutes, and future innovators. In order to give attendees a thorough educational experience, the event will include interactive workshops, pitch competitions, and expert-led sessions.
In collaboration with Techstars, the program includes customer validation, solution development, team building, and Demo Day. In a variety of domains, participants investigate cutting-edge technologies like blockchain, AI, and machine learning. At BITC, pre-seed grants and incubation support are given to the top three teams. In partnership with international facilitators such as Techstars and Aim Ventures, as well as other participants from Bhutan’s entrepreneurial ecosystem, the DoEE, which is part of the Ministry of Industry, Commerce, and Employment, is supporting the NSUW 2025.
