Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) Chief Hagrama Mohilary praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s recently announced infrastructure projects for the BTC region, calling them a significant milestone for Bodoland. During a virtual foundation stone-laying ceremony held in Kokrajhar, Mohilary expressed optimism for increased development attention for the region. The key projects highlighted include a Railway Wagon Workshop at Bashbari costing Rs 256 crore and four flyovers at Gossaigaon Chariali, Debargaon, Titaguri, and Gaurang Tiniali in Kokrajhar district, along with two bridges over the Sonkosh and Beki rivers. The total investment in these flyovers and bridges is estimated at around Rs 1,100 crore.
