Bhutan will host the first Asia Visionary Summit (AVS) from November 6 to 8, 2026, bringing together global leaders, entrepreneurs, scientists, investors and policymakers for an invitation-only forum on innovation, sustainability and leadership.
Held under the patronage of His Majesty King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck, the summit aims to support the vision of Gelephu Mindfulness City (GMC) and promote dialogue on Asia’s future. Fewer than 500 invited delegates, including heads of state, business executives, scientists and investors, are expected to attend. Discussions will focus on five key themes: ecology and conservation, artificial intelligence, clean energy and climate, medicine and human longevity, and conscious leadership.
The three-day event will feature keynote speeches, panel discussions, founder presentations and networking sessions. It will conclude with the Raven Concert at Changlimithang Stadium in Thimphu, expected to attract more than 10,000 attendees. Organisers say the summit will strengthen Bhutan’s role as a global platform for sustainable development, innovation and international collaboration.
