The journey to Bangkok has begun. Today, a selection event titled “Rhythm of Bhutan” took place in Bhutan. Nyendra won the selection and will represent Bhutan in Bangkok with the entry “Lhayi Semo.”
Bhutan’s representative for Eurovision Asia was chosen based on a combination of jury voting (40%), local voting (40%), and international voting (20%).
The inaugural edition of “Rhythm of Bhutan” was hosted by Phub Tshering and Kelzang Dolkar. The participating artists performed before a panel comprising four renowned figures from the Bhutanese industry: Choying Jatsho, Mr. Pema Samdrup, Sonam Dorji, and Ugyen.
